for clear 1st place in Open Section for a

NM Lawyer Times, former Boylston Chess Club Champion,
faces off with Carissa Yip in Round 2. Everything was quiet until (!)
When the dust settled, Carissa had won the game with the black pieces!

U1950 SECTION
INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE
92 yr old Harold Dondis, Esq. went undefeated in the
U1950 section scoring 3 points to share 1-2nd place
with Ames Abbot. Harold was +111 for a 1714 rating!

ENDGAME TIME!
Juan Payan (left) plays black vs Ames Abbot in Round 1.
Ames scored 3 points to share 1-2nd place with Harold Dondis.
Juan scored 2.5 points to share 3-4th place with Niranjan 
Shankar. Ames was +9 for a 1921 rating; Juan was +20 to 1693.
SOLID PLAY

Niranjan essayed a strong performance for the win and a piece
of 3-4th place for a +7 to 1714 rating.

to take clear 2nd place in the U1650 Section!
